Freak Show: Goat Girl semi-final

Basically, I don't like my final image of Goat Girl that much, and also it's up in the studio so I can't take a photo of it. This is the acrylic try-out.

The reason it's not too well finished is that I'm not that great at detail in the A4 format of this sketchbook, so the eyes (being the main point of the picture) are less visible than they should be.

Freak show - circus and oddity poster type studies

I thought I'd never see the beauty in typography. Super wrong.

Ringling Brothers Present: The Astounding Goat Girl - Alive!

Freakshow project - Goat Girl

I'm playing more with the actual poster layouts, components, typefaces (all hand drawn, as I refuse to do this one digitally, being something of a 'Victoriana' project. This was a speedy trial in acrylics to see how elements could be laid out, what works, what doesn't etc. etc.

Hansel Adler - Das Erstaunliche Bayerische Telekine

More freakshow poster concept stuff. This is Hansel Adler, who (according to his currently metaphorical poster) survived a fire in his home in Bavaria due to his strange telekinetic powers. Of course this is the same level of bollocks as these things always are, he is just a badly burnt German kid who uses strings to 'float' objects.

Basically one of those things that occur when there's no inspiration so you just start painting in acrylics and see what shapes appear, and then bung in some pencil.

Do excuse me if the German is wrong, it's from a translation programme.
